Dr. Matthew Garrett is a native of Southern California and he comes from a long line of dentists in his family. His dad, brother, and uncles are all dentists.

Dr. Garrett is a graduate of Brigham Young University. He majored in Spanish and Business. Following undergraduate studies, he went to Loma Linda University dental school where he received his DDS.

While out of the office he enjoys spending time with his wife and five kids. He loves the outdoors and is an avid fly-fisherman.

He spends time serving in his church as a counselor and mentor to the youth age children.
